Contributing to sustainable development is integral to the way we do business. As we work to help meet the world's growing energy needs we aim to share benefits with local communities and reduce the impacts of our operations, including tackling greenhouse gas emissions. We look after our people - our core values of honesty, integrity and respect for people have been laid out in the Shell General Business Principles for more than 30 years.
Environment
Meeting the world’s growing energy needs and protecting the environment requires new technology, partnerships and ways of operating. We continually look for ways to limit the environmental impact of our operations.
Safety
Safety is always our top priority. We aim to have zero fatalities and no incidents that cause harm to our people, or put our neighbours or facilities at risk.
Society
We supply energy which helps support economic growth and development, and work with communities where we operate to address concerns and share the benefits or our operations.
